Saw the last plane crash of the trail shortly north of camp. Took a road walk early on to cheat a bunch of the day. Forded another river, got to camp at 2ish.
Notyet satellite texted me saying he might push to the shelter 5 miles further, but when he caught up we decided to wait for the group.
It was getting late so we decided to just stay at the campsite. It’s a nice site but kinda windy. The group is doing gift exchanges every day until katahdin. Piph gave me a spam packet which I desperately need and Slim gave everyone some candy and a sticker.
A SOBO flip flopper named “Radiant Nut” stopped by and chatted with us for a while, and then offered us some food which Notyet and I took. Probably should have packed more food for this stretch but my pack already feels so heavy. Back is aching for the first time on trail.
Tomorrow is the last significant climbing day until katahdin. Also 25 miles. It is supposed to pour rain tonight and tomorrow so it may suck.
