Later start than hoped today. Mist mountain was nothing though.
Hiked over moosilauke which is definitely psyched myself up around. Climb up was brutal for sure and very hot, but doable. Views were good.
Our original plan was to hike to a shelter not much further, but we all summited pretty early, so decided to gun to the next road and book bunks at the notch hostel. This was good because my new shoes were there, and my shoes from Del Water Gap were not doing well.
Hike down was stupid. Descent goes straight down a waterfall. It was unbelievably slippery and I fell a lot.
There are some people staying here that slim and Notyet hate I guess so we went out and got beers.
Kinsman tomorrow which supposedly sucks but I have new shoes at least.
