Fairly easy day today. We finished the 19 miles before 3 and there were some significant climbs. NH is very pretty compared to a lot of the previous states for sure.
The Walmart trek pole rubbed a gnarly blister on my hand but it is fixable.
We did a bunch of chores at the BNB, permethrined all our stuff, rebuilt our packs, ate a lot of food that would otherwise be trashed. Made another Walmart run and I bought a crappy little synthetic blanket but at least it is light.
My shoes are falling apart a bit but I shipped new ones to the notch hostel which I will hopefully figure out a way to stop by in the next few days.
Tomorrow is 17 miles, with the only major climb being mt cube, but we’ll have our full packs again. I probably have way too much food.
