Did a longer road walk out of GB to join the trail a bit later. I also needed to stop by a couple gas stations for resupply.
Pretty boring day honestly and not a ton of miles. Disgustingly hot but the terrain was very tame. I got to the shelter at about 2 and it started to rain. Had my hammock and tarp already set up in porch mode tho so everything was good.
Play tomorrow is to go to goose pond, where a supposedly nice shelter/cabin exists. Still going to be hot as hell tomorrow. Still somewhat regretting pushing on past great Barrington. Dalton is just one additional day though, and has plenty of bail options if I’m still feeling like the heat is killing me.
