3 mile descent to the road, and then 5+ more miles to road walk to town. I got screwed by Uber which was frustrating so most of the road walk was in heavy heat. Got a hitch about half a mile out. Grateful for it but the north sucks as far as that kind of stuff goes. I passed WEB Du Bois’ house but I have no idea who that is so I didn’t take a picture of it.
Weather isn’t looking much better on the long term. Still leaning towards taking a train out.
Got lunch with Notyet. He says he may take a zero tomorrow as the 30+ miles he did yesterday messed his ankle up a bit. I am 100% zeroing. Will see how I feel tomorrow.
Great Barrington is an expensive tourist town where everything is closed on Tuesdays.
