As usual I got up a bit later than I wanted but was out on the road before 8 at least.
First half of the day was real flat and easy. The swamp walk was dry but I still tripped and ate shit on a very flat boardwalk.

Got hot dogs at “T Dawgs”, a little food truck right before the stairway to heaven. The stairway was SLAMMED with day hikers. Probably more than I’ve seen anywhere else on trail. It wasn’t too bad overall, although maybe part of that was because I was forced to go slow by waiting in line at multiple sections.
Ran into a trail magic cooler a bit after stairway. I had low hopes for it and they were confirmed when it was just full of bibles.

Got to the state line, which turns into a real rocky section. I’d been fretting about it most of the day as the FarOut comments make it sound super difficult and treacherous, but it was fine. Found a spot where you can just barely see the NYC skyline in the distance.

Camping at a stealth site near a little waterfall. Still waiting on NotYet to show up. Hopefully it’s flat enough to tent on, I can def hammock here at least. Tomorrow is a bunch more scrambling supposedly and then we stop at another stealth site at a pond 21 miles from where we are tonight.
