Finished the rollercoaster today. Again, not incredibly difficult but not something I’d really want to do again. Didn’t fall today at least.
Ran into Van Gogh at the VA/WV state line. Van Gogh is from Australia so he asked me what West Virginia was known for in the states. “I have absolutely no idea,” I told him. He’s going fully into Harper’s today and said he’ll probably zero, so might see him tomorrow.
Virginia is done now tho. West Virginia is short and easy, then Maryland, also short and easy, then some other state that I forget but is also probably not super miserable.
I got treated to dinner, shower, laundry, and a quiet bed by some very kind family friends near by so I technically have about 4 more miles into Harper’s. Might stay the night there tomorrow, might push past to get a headstart on the next stretch. Will see how I feel when I wake up.
