Front Royal is a solid stop and it is hot as hell today so feeling pretty solid about it. Did a very light resupply, replaced my trekking poles, chilled with some people here.
Crammed a good chunk of my leuko onto other items to make it easier to pack.
Went to the VA beer museum (it is not really a museum, much more of a bar in a historic house that people kept buying me drinks in).
Ran into Caveman, Mt Chicken, Big Bird, Sundowner, and some others, probably see them tomorrow at some point. Lots of folks seem to have stopped here. Very walkable little town with plenty of restaurants, post office, solid downtown area, etc.
Mountain Chicken gave me a very deep talk about why I’m out here, what the butterflies tell me, and so on. She is definitely trying to hook into a part of old Austin that I didn’t really experience.
