Finished before noon today so it counts as a near zero, whatever that really means.
Was freaking out a little because my shuttle to Stanimals was supposed to leave at 11 and I didn’t get started until 6 because my alarm got silenced somehow, so I had to clear 11.4 miles in less than 5 hours. Was pretty doable tho and I got to the river at about 10.
This bridge supposedly is a common Noro hotspot

It is also a footbridge named after someone with the last name “foot”

Glasgow is a shit hole holy moly. Visited every open store in probably 30 mins tops.

This Stanimals location is managed by Boomhauer, who was also at the previous one in Feb. He’s a chill guy and recognized me and told me the people I was hiking with previously were “way beyond me” now (last I checked in the log books they were 6+ days ahead).
Resupplied for 4 days. Feels pretty heavy tho. I think I’m on board for heading back out tomorrow. Maybe short miles, will see. There’s a bail out to Buena Vista at about mile 20. Next few days look exceptionally brutal tho, and it is going to be hot again. Night hiking likely incoming.
