Saw the horses.
Today is a 24 mile push to trimpi shelter. It’s about 2 pm right now and I’m feeling pretty shitty about half way through. Think I’m going to push for it but I’m going to be in pretty late.
Did end up getting into trimpi shelter at 730ish and my feet are wrecked. Think I’ve decided I’m going into town tomorrow so I’m likely breaking off with the group. They are great people and I will miss them but I don’t think I’m able to continue driving 20+ mile days consistently.
As a farewell gift they insisted I set my hammock up in the shelter.
Dumb horses. Dumb day. But it is nice to be around some real cool people for a bit longer.
