Today was a relatively easy day to the boots off hostel. Even easier than expected since we chewed through so much yesterday. I still managed to go down a side trail by accident and waste an hour of my time almost.
Boots Off is a real cool hostel right near lake Watuaga and all the cool people are here. Plain Jane, Slinky, Blackout, Preacher, Lucky Charm, Notyet, and Graham, maybe more.
Notyet and Lucky Charm are saying I should try for the “Damascus Marathon”, where we take a shortish (15 mile) day tomorrow, and then do 26.2 to Damascus. Will see how I’m feeling after tomorrow. The terrain is becoming real easy to deal with, which is supposedly the story for most of VA.
