Fairly chill day today in the end. Decided not to push past the next shelter since I woke up with a screaming headache. Slammed some ibuprofen and 3L of water from the nearest spring and by the time I made it to the top of Roan was feeling fine. Notyet had texted me tho and told me he was going to push to the same shelter I was planning to stay at.
Got to the shelter at about 3, bummed around a bit and Preacher showed up. We chatted for a bit, particularly about if my shoes will make it to Damascus.
At about 6 Notyet, and two guys named Slinky and Blackout showed up too. Caught up with notyet for a while over some beers someone had given him on the way in. Pretty cool to link back up with someone I had split from almost a month ago.
Tomorrow is a hopefully easy 11 miles and then a hostel stay. Looking at the schedule to Damascus most of the days look pretty manageable which is nice.
